Rockstar Games has rolled out a major update to Grand Theft Auto Online alongside the new Mansions content, introducing a wide range of changes that significantly improve gameplay, balance, and convenience. From vehicle updates to long-requested quality-of-life features, this update stands out as one of the most impactful improvements GTA Online has received in years. One of the biggest changes is the return of many previously removed vehicles to in-game websites, making them purchasable once again. In addition, the long-standing bulletproof window glitch on the Invetero Coquette D5 was finally fixed, preventing players from abusing near-invulnerability during missions.

GTA Plus received notable upgrades in this update. Members can now apply previously location-exclusive upgrades, such as Hao’s Special Works, Benny’s modifications, and drift tuning, directly from the mansion vehicle workshop. GTA Plus also adds automation features, allowing staff to source cargo, generate income from businesses, and collect safe earnings more efficiently, making long-term progression easier.

Rockstar also introduced a Mission Creator to GTA Online, giving players tools to build custom missions using provided templates. This system appears deep and flexible, and it may signal a stronger focus on user-generated content moving forward, especially with future titles in mind.

Mansions themselves introduce a new property system that places players into private instances when entering, preventing unwanted interruptions while still preserving the illusion of a shared world. Players can safely store vehicles outside their mansions, free from interference. Mansion upgrades also include a powerful security detail that dramatically reduces or nearly eliminates business raids, making MC businesses, bunkers, nightclubs, and warehouses far safer to manage.

As a bonus addition, players can now purchase pets for their mansions. One dog and one cat can be owned per account, with customizable breeds and colors. While interaction options are limited, pets add life and personality to mansion properties at a relatively low cost.

The most impactful feature of the update is fast travel. Mansion owners can instantly travel to any owned property or major vehicle, including warehouses, mobile operations centers, the Kosatka, and more. This dramatically reduces travel time and improves efficiency across all business activities. Combined with a new option to temporarily boost business production, the update makes managing multiple operations faster and less frustrating.

Overall, the GTA Online Mansions update represents a major step forward. By focusing on convenience, balance, creativity, and long-standing player requests, Rockstar has delivered an update that reshapes how players move, earn, and live in Los Santos.
